Amidst #COVID 19, LDLT in a 4 year Bangladeshi child

Amidst #COVID 19, a successful pediatric Living Donor Liver Transplantation in a 4 year Bangladeshi girl suffering from Metabolic Liver disease. She also had portal vein thrombosis due to pancreatitis because of anomalous pancreato-biliary junction. Her transplantation seemed impossible without a portal vein inflow. She underwent TIPSS procedure with portal vein thrombectomy. After several weeks we reconfirmed patency of portal vein and then planned for a LDLT. Father donated part of his liver to her daughter. Her post-op was uneventful.
